2026 Boat Pricing Guide

MasterCraft Boats

As you consider purchasing a new or pre-owned MasterCraft boat, this
pricing guide will help you plan for the initial purchase of the boat as well as
the anticipated maintenance costs. Whether you choose an NXT, XT, X or
XStar, you can feel confident knowing what the overall cost of ownership
will look like.

It is important to understand that MasterCraft Colorado, like most
dealerships, is limited in our ability to display pricing on current model year
boats. We are required to follow guidelines by MasterCraft that only allows
us to show our “Minimum Advertised Price”, but we always want to be as
transparent as possible about pricing.

The prices you see on our website on current model year boats is the
Minimum Advertised Price. We will sell most boats below this price and we
frequently have Manufacturer rebates and incentives as well as dealer
incentives. The prices published are a good ballpark starting point
however, we are always happy to provide EXACT pricing with a simple
phone call, text message or email to a member of our Sales Team.

MasterCraft Lineup

MasterCraft NXT Family

The NXT Family is what we refer to as “Summer Made Easy”. This line will range in price from a very well equipped base model starting at around $130,000 and fully loaded with custom options for around $170,000.

The NXT line is often called our entry line, but the NXT is still built with the same pedigree and quality construction and materials as our Premium Luxury XStar line.

MasterCraft XT Family

The XT line offers five models from 20’ to 24’ and endless configurations.

The XT family delivers world-class wakes and waves, athletic lines, and infinite options. This is the line that many of the MasterCraft Pro Athletes ride behind. Pricing on the XT line starts with a very well equipped base model at around $160,000 and can be fully loaded with limitless options for around $250,000.

The XT line is the top selling family of boats for MasterCraft across the globe.

MasterCraft X Family

The X Family offers aggressive performance with refined luxury. The X24 has a reengineered hull for model year 2026, with a bold new profile, and world-class surf waves with SurfStar. The X line of boats start at around $290,000 for a very well equipped and very capable boat, up to $350,000+ for a fully loaded X24.

MasterCraft XStar Family

The XStar Family is the ultimate in luxury, performance, and customization.

This is the flagship line that sets the standard for the entire wake boat industry. The XStar is truly the best of the best, delivering the most aggressive wakes and waves on the water and the highest level of fit and

finish MasterCraft offers.

The XStar23 and the Xstar25 are the pinnacle of surf and wake boats, boasting an intuitive helm screen and a revolutionary surf experience. Pricing for the XStar family starts at approximately $390,000 for a well-equipped model and can reach $500,000+ when fully optioned with custom paint, lighting, audio, and the largest super-charged engine configurations.

Additional Option Pricing

There are a few options to point out that increase the price of the boat more than others. Heaters, CoolFeel vinyl options, and colors will add minimal cost to the final price, while SuperCharged Engines, Stern Thrusters and fully Powered Tower options will result in more significant changes to the overall cost of the boat.

All boats at MasterCraft Colorado, and within the pricing guidelines above INCLUDE trailers. If you are on a lake that allows you to leave your boat in a boat slip or on a lift year around, we can certainly order a boat without the trailer. Trailers range in price from $11,000 for a tandem axle trailer with surge brakes on the NXT line up to about $27,000 for a loaded triple axle trailer with electric brakes, trailer bow steps, and runway and step lighting.

Annual Maintenance and Insurance Costs

Annual Maintenance Costs can vary depending on the size and age of the boat, but it is more consistent than most boat buyers realize. Generally speaking, maintenance will run between $1500 and $2500 per year depending on how well you take care of your boat and depending on the options.

Winterization

For most boat owners, this will be the largest single maintenance item. Winterization for a MasterCraft is typically about $750.

At MasterCraft Colorado our Winterization includes draining the criticalcomponents such as the engine block, heater core’s and all ballast tanks and running Marine antifreeze through those systems to protect them. We also add fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank to prevent condensation and deterioration of fuel during the winter months. Also included in this cost is the Summerization.. When weather conditions warm back up, simply bring your boat back and we will run-test the boat to drain any leftover antifreeze and re-connecting batteries to ensure the boat will be ready to launch.

Shrink Wrapping

For any boat that will be stored outside during the off-season, we recommend shrink wrapping the boat. This protects your asset from weather and will also help to keep pests and animals out of your boat.

Shrink wrapping is currently priced at $26 per foot. So for a 22’ boat, the cost would be 22’ + 2’ for the swim platform x $26 or around $624.00

Oil Change

In Colorado we highly recommend an oil change at the time of winterization and/or every 50 hours. The average Cost of an oil change for a single engine boat is around $350. We recommend an oil change at the time of winterization to ensure that any debris, shavings, etc will be removed before the boat sits idle for several months.

Engine Impellers and Ballast Impellers

Engine Impellers are probably the single most important maintenance item to keep up with. While engine impellers are recommended every 100 hours, we HIGHLY recommend a new engine impeller every spring. The impeller is a rubber fan blade that allows fresh water to be pumped into the engine to keep it cool. Engine Impeller service is around $350. Ballast impellers are less critical but help to keep ballast pumps running efficiently. We recommend ballast impellers every 100 hours and this cost is roughly $50 per impeller. Our NXT line do not use ballast impellers as they use a cartridge type pump. Most XT boats have 3 impellers, unless Fastfill is an option, in which case it has 4 impellers, and X and Xstar boats have 4 – 7 again depending on the ballast configuration. Overall, you should anticipate about $350 on an NXT, or $400 to $600 for XT, X and Xstar boats.

The estimated pricing you see above includes our labor cost.

Insurance

You will want to make sure that your new asset is protected and if the boat is financed, will be required to maintain an appropriate insurance policy. I am pleased to tell you that most of our customers are very surprised to learn that a comprehensive policy for a boat in the tow-boat/watersports segment will only cost roughly between $550 and about $900 per year. At MasterCraft Colorado, we work with providers that really understand our industry. Many insurance companies see the word boat and make the assumption that you will be living aboard a boat in the Caribbean or sailing across an ocean. Our partners understand that you will be using your boat less frequently, and that your boat will not be stored in a hurricane zone and will normally be kept in a garage or on a concrete pad. They also understand that Colorado has a rather limited boating season of just 6 or 7 months at best, and they price the policy accordingly.

Taxes and Registration

Taxes in Colorado are collected on a boat exactly the same as they would be on a can of coca-cola at the convenience store. We will collect the sales tax on the boat at the time of purchase and based on the DELIVERY location of the boat. You can opt for an on-water delivery, for delivery to your home or take delivery here at our dealership.

Registration for your boat will be paid for by MasterCraft Colorado for your first year of ownership. We will register the boat with Colorado parks and Wildlife which covers the cost of your Annual Parks Pass, and we will also order customized registration numbers for your boat that match the font and color of your particular model.

Registration for the Trailer fees/taxes will be collected at the time of closing for the taxes that MasterCraft Colorado and the buyer have in common and we will place a temporary license plate on the trailer. Much like a motor vehicle, in 45-60 days the buyer will receive the appropriate documentation and will be required to visit their local Department of Motor Vehicles to pay any remaining taxes and registration fees for the TRAILER only. You will receive your new Trailer License Plates at that time.
